Active trips and the coolest activities in Tyrol

Are you in the Austrian Tyrolean Alps? A world filled with cool activities is waiting for you. There is so much to do here in terms of active trips, both in winter and in summer months.  Austria is of course known for its many winter sports areas and breathtaking mountainous landscapes. But we can promise that the Austrian Alps also won't disappoint you in spring and in summer. The green Alpine meadows, breathtaking views, and blooming nature. We'll share our tips below!

Things to do in winter months ❄️

⛷️ Skiing and snowboarding
Go for a challenging descent on skis or visit the coolest spots the Tyrolean Alps and famous skiing areas can offer on your snowboard.

🎿 Cross-country skiing
The area around Seefeld is known for its many cross-country skiing trails. Get on your skis and slide past idyllic villages, historic points of interest, and traditional homes. 

🥾 Winter hike
Put on your snow boots, get dressed up warmly, and get out on the snowy mountains of the Tyrolean Alps. You won't forget the panoramic view anytime soon!

🎳 Indoor sports activities
Do you feel like playing a game of tennis, bowling, or pool? Or would you rather go trampolining or improve your climbing skills on the climbing wall? At Sportpark Arl. Rock it's all possible!

 

Things to do in summer months ☀️

🚴🏼♀️ Cycling, mountain biking, and speed cycling
The area around our campsites is perfect for a cycling tour. There are many routes for both beginners and experienced cyclists.

🥾 Walking and hiking
Put on your sturdy hiking boots, fill your bag with water and snacks, and get started with the challenging hike or relaxing walk! 

🎾 Various sports
Hit some balls on the golf course, beat your vacation buddy on the tennis court, and score a strike at the bowling alley. You can do many more sports here!

🧗🏼 Climbing and clambering
Go up the mountains like a true mountain climber, or climb from platform to platform, cross rope ladders, and conquer obstacles at the Rope Course Verwalltal.

    Camping with private sanitary facilities

    At Camping am Arlberg you have the unique option to go camping with private sanitary facilities. Your camping spot is equipped with a private sanitary unit with a toilet, shower, and sink.

    Swimming pool and Wellness

    After a day filled with activities you of course need to relax a bit. Fully unwind and recharge your body for the next day in the neighboring swimming pool (with wellness).

🚙 Are the campgrounds centrally located?

Absolutely! Both campsites are located in the Tyrolean Alps and surrounded by nature, but still near idyllic villages.  Camping am Arlberg is within walking distance of the mountain village of Pettneu, you'll reach the quaint town center in a 15-minute walk. From Camping Leutasch, the village of Seefeld is a 15-minute drive.  You will find something for everyone in the pleasant, car-free center: from cozy stores and patios to a casino, an ice rink, indoor pool, discotheques and après-ski bars. 

⛺️ What facilities do the campsites offer?

At our campsites you'll find all the facilities you need for a great and care-free vacation. Both campsites feature a launderette with washing machines and dryers. They are also located next to an indoor swimming pool (with wellness) that you can use for free during your stay.  At Camping Leutasch we have an indoor playground for children and a dog shower for our furry friends.
